Participants are needed for the PALS Online Study

The Amputee Coalition is working with Johns Hopkins to improve the lives of persons with limb loss.  As part of this effort, we are working together to develop and test a new program to help you manage your life after limb loss.

You are eligible if you are over 18 years old and have experienced a major limb loss.
If you agree to participate in the project you will complete:

  • An online assessment about your limb loss and how you are doing,
  • 8 lessons at the PALS Online website,
  • A final online assessment.

If you participate in the study you will receive $50 after completing all 8 online lessons and another $25 for answering questions the assessment questions at the end of the program. You will also help us learn more about how to aid others in their recovery.

To learn more about the study, please provide your contact information and we will answer your questions and if you decide to participate, get you started with the study.
